DOMESTIC VIOLENCE
This is a campaign I wrote, shot, and directed to help prevent domestic violence within Hispanic communities in the U.S. It was developed for the Mexican Consulate in San Francisco and broadcast nationwide through major Latino TV networks, including Univision and Telemundo.

The film juxtaposes images of loving family moments with the raw sounds of real domestic violence situations, culminating in a direct question to potential abusers: How would you like to be remembered? No actors were used; every person featured is a real member of the Latino community. The audio was recorded with women who had survived domestic abuse and bravely returned to a recording studio—reliving parts of their experiences to give voice to this campaign.
