I’m a bilingual Spanish-American creative director (copy), filmmaker, and entrepreneur based in San Francisco, with a passion for tech and a deep commitment to socially conscious storytelling. My parents say I have a knack for moving people—so you’ll find plenty of heart (and a bit of humor) woven throughout my portfolio.
With over 15 years of experience as a creative director, I’ve held full-time creative leadership roles at global brands like Amazon and top agencies such as Proximity BBDO and Alma DDB (Ad Age A-List). I also co-founded and ran my own ad agency and film production company, Free Range Puppies, with offices in San Francisco and Barcelona. Along the way, I’ve partnered with clients including Netflix, McDonald’s, Clorox, Barclays, First Republic Bank, BBVA, Vodafone, TED, IDEO, Rolling Stone, Ford, Chrysler, Asevi, Doritos, Pandora, Proactiv, and a range of NGOs.
My work has received widespread recognition, including 50+ awards across advertising and film festivals; features in media outlets such as KQED, CBS, Fox, Univision, and the front page of the San Francisco Chronicle; invitations to speak at TEDx San Francisco and Creative Mornings; and an esteemed FilmHouse Residency at SFFILM.
But what stays with me are the projects that truly mattered: documenting one man’s extraordinary life on the streets over 15 years in my debut feature film, mentoring students while teaching at an ad school, and helping tell the stories of 100 individuals experiencing homelessness in the Bay Area.
When I'm not working, I enjoy learning and playing music—occasionally moonlighting as a one-man band, with guitar, ukulele, piano, and Native American flutes in the mix.
